I have 2 EP500s and have them hooked together with Split Phase Fusion Box (P020A). Can just about power everything, (essential), in my house when have good sunlight. UPS options are great when have to power stuff from grid when batteries run out. Has been money well spent.
I use this monster to power my shed that I converted into an off-grid office. I have it connected to 6 residential grade panels that max out the 1200W solar input, the Solar input has 2 pairs of MC4 connectors which is helpful when connecting a large array!
The battery is huge 5.1 KWH and runs my office for 3-5 days, even when using my gaming PC which draws around 400W! – my previous AC200 as fine for my work laptop but gaming PC was just too much for it (especially in the winter months where soar is reduced!). I can even run my 1000W space heater for an hour or 2 in the morning to warm up my office and still have enough power for the full day ahead!
I’ve had mine for 4 months now and I run it daily, NON-STOP with no issues. It is BIG but thankfully it has wheels so is mobile, but be careful lifting as the unit is understandably heavy!
Bluetooth app is a huge timesaver, I configured the UPS mode (there are multiple options including custom which I use) way faster than sorting through menus on the device. I also monitor the device remotely including switching the device on and off over the internet if you connect your device to WiFi. Oh and the PD USBC is 100W so no more laptop brick charger cables!
It is a comfort to know that when the power goes out, and I’m sure it will. I’ll have the ability to maintain those important items. It’s easy to use and quiet. Two things I’ll need if the power goes out
The unit itself is satisfactory so far (1 week). Trying to use as a UPS but unit trips the dedicated GFI when plugged in. The GFI has been tested and only trips when the Bluetti is plugged in. Reached out to Bluetti via phone (no answer and mailbox is full) and via email. No reply after two days.
I'm very pleased with my Bluetti EP500
