Should have done this years ago

I finally bit the bullet and after much research and consideration I settled on the XP15000HX as my generator of choice. It's powerful enough to run the devices I need to power when the grid goes down - which it did for us in 2024 twice for a total of 14 days without power! The Duramax arrived safely was well packaged and fixed to a pallet. Installation instructions were well laid out and easy step by step format. The thing is heavy so the wheels and extra long and stout handles help with moving it easily. I set it up and tested it within a day or two of receiving it and everything works well, no hitches at all.
One slight issue I experienced during installation was that the generator is as wide as the pallet so it is not a simple task to install the wheel axles and wheels. The axles do not extend out far enough to install the wheels so the generator needs to be physically maneuvered to allow that... Something to be considered in the pallet design for future perhaps?
All in this is a case of so far so good and while I don't wish for a power outage anytime soon at least I am more confident in my abilities to generate my own power should that happen.
